This has been made so much easier both financially and emotionally through having a good medical plan. We have found everything insurance-wise, straightforward and stress-free. It has been excellent having insurance to cover medical expenses and also the option of being able to afford for some aspects to be dealt with privately as required. Whilst it is true that we could have had all treatments in the public system, the combination of both has made the process so much easier and expedient.
The most surprising aspect of this event in our lives has been the recognition and understanding that we have Trauma insurance. We knew we had the Trauma insurance for times like this, but actually claiming and receiving a payout has been incredibly reassuring on so many levels. We are now able to do things that support and enable things to happen within the process that we couldn’t have previously afforded or even have considered without the Trauma payout. Sheryl helped us with our application and advised us with all details of our case. That we were successful and that we had the insurance at all is completely due to Sheryl. She has also provided us with great advice on how to manage the money, cognisant of the fact that this payout is there to support the situation we currently find ourselves within.
